Day 4
On the last full day of camp, the posts and guards were grouped together by age and went off to their respective sites to learn about how to take the individual skills they learned earlier in the week and apply them in a team setting. After afternoon stations, campers played 5-on-5 games followed by the all-star games, where the Pac-10 all-stars pushed the coaches to the limit, but came up short, falling to the coaches by 3.
At the Main Event, coach Steve Underholzner spoke to the campers about God’s love, about how it doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from, or what your story is, God still loves you. After discussion groups, we had Open Mic in the gym where campers could get up on stage and address the entire camp about something they learned during the week. After Open Mic, the coaches and campers celebrated their last night of camp with delicious pizza.
